Big news: This weekend we opened our second store in Seattle—right in University Village!

While the design of the Warby Parker Annex in Fremont plays with the concept of writer’s block (with typewriter-topped desks, walls of stacked books, and, yes, a giant concrete block, inscribed with customers’ five-word memoirs), our new spot in University Village takes after the classic library-inspired aesthetic of our very first store on Greene Street in New York City. Think: light oak shelving, spacious marble tabletops, and brass detailing. The space also features exposed metal ceiling beams, concrete flooring, and skylights throughout—plus a very special collaboration with artist Geoff McFetridge.

Geoff, who designed the façade of our Abbot Kinney store in Los Angeles and the illustrations inside our store at The Standard hotel in Hollywood, has worked his magic again at our University Village space with two new murals: a black-and-white number covering the store’s exterior, and the other in bright blue, right behind the Reference Desk inside. And as a special bonus: For a limited time exclusively at University Village, we’ll also be giving away a custom lens cloth featuring Geoff’s Reference Desk artwork with every purchase.

It’s bright, open, and airy, and we can’t wait for you to come by.
