The Warby Parker Readery Is Back in New York City
The Warby Parker Readery has returned—and it’s found a new home at Brookfield Place in Battery Park City.
We originally opened the Readery in the summer of 2012. Designed as a reimagined 1960s newsstand, it came stocked with classic reads (both vintage and new), postcards, and a curated collection of eyewear. It was our take on a traveling pop-up shop. Since then, it’s enjoyed extended stays at The Standard Hotels in Los Angeles, New York City, and Miami Beach.
To celebrate its new home, we’ve stocked the shelves with an exclusive collection of postcards, Reading Maps, limited-edition books, and one-of-a-kind offerings by artist Jason Polan. Also, just at the Readery, you’ll find select works of fiction (think: Speedboat, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, The Love Affairs of Nathaniel P.), each accented with hand-drawn illustrations by Jason throughout the pages.
And one last surprise: Remember those head-in-a-hole photo boards? Jason was kind enough to create a special one for Brookfield Place. (It’s worth the visit.)
Come see us if you’re in the neighborhood!
