Say Hello to Spring 2016

For our first collection of 2016, we’re heading to the circus. The spectacle, the bold colors, the high spirits: Our Spring 2016 collection takes its inspiration straight from the tents.

For our first collection of 2016, we’re heading to the circus. The spectacle, the bold colors, the high spirits: Our Spring 2016 collection takes its inspiration straight from the tents.

This is a bright and fun-loving bunch of frames, crafted from premium acetate in lively new hues like Maraschino and Peacock Green, and returning favorites Bellini and Canton Blue. We’re also reprising the luxurious (and crowd-pleasing) detailing from our Concentric Collection; Haskell in Crystal comes outfitted with an inner ring in one of three colors—Blue Jay, Manzanita, and Maple—applied by way of a specialty friction technique. They’re guaranteed showstoppers.

Rounding out the collection are three new silhouettes: studious Dorset and charismatic Kensett and Burroughs, whose rounded browlines and squared-off lenses seriously up the charm.

To Read: How Are You Handling the Post-Holiday Blues?

It’s over. Time to hunker down for the brutal, joyless winter that comes between your inevitable post-present letdown and Valentine’s Day’s grim reminder of your loveless life. Here’s some books to make it better.

Stickers!

As you can imagine, working at Warby Parker means we each have our share of frames. That also means: lots of cases and more rooting around in our bags to figure out which has our sunglasses, which has our glasses, and which one has our extra batteries/bobby pins/spare set of keys/etc.

So! We got these stickers made to help us differentiate all our cases and commemorate our love of snacks and space travel. Lifesavers.

Sloane Crosley’s The Clasp

A couple weeks back, we hosted an intimate little party at our Chicago store to celebrate the release of our longtime friend Sloane Crosley’s first novel, The Clasp. As far as novels go—first, second, or otherwise—this one’s stellar.

A couple weeks back, we hosted an intimate little party at our Chicago store to celebrate the release of our friend Sloane Crosley’s first novel, The Clasp. As far as novels go—first, second, or otherwise—this one’s stellar.

Sloane gave a delightful reading, answered questions from the crowd, and sent fans and friends home with signed copies in the eye-popping color of their choice.

See for yourself!

We’re in San Jose!

We’re back, California! And this time we’re here to celebrate our 20th (!) retail store, which opened in San Jose’s Santana Row last Saturday.

We’re back, California! And this time we’re here to celebrate our 20th (!) retail store, which opened in San Jose’s Santana Row last Saturday.

Sara Essex Bradley

Santana Row’s palm-tree lined boulevard, bevy of retailers and restaurants, and always-lively atmosphere are just a few reasons why we chose to be part of this shopping destination. Just like our store, Santana Row offers much more than a space to shop; it’s a place to catch up with friends, relax, and take in the scenery.

Our new space takes cues from a classic library. As customers walk into the store, they’ll notice a custom brass entry fixture, along with elegant displays of books, brass library lamps, and white terrazzo tiled floors; in addition, our entire collection of glasses is housed on dark-walnut library shelves. The interior features leather seating (for reading and relaxing) and a selection of books sourced from our favorite independent publishers (also for sale to take home). Also on view: exclusive artwork by designer and artist Jason Munn, who has collaborated with us in our other retail locations.

Bonus: We’ve released a limited-edition pair of sunglasses: Baker in Glacier Grey with blue mirrored lenses. Come grab a pair while they’re still around!
