Abbot Kinney, Here We Come
We’re so thrilled to open our first free-standing store on the West Coast—tomorrow!—right where the action is—on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Los Angeles is proving to be a nice home away from home, and we’re excited to deepen our roots in the Venice neighborhood.
A laid-back touch, the glass storefront accordions open for maximum breeziness, and we’ve furnished the space with midcentury-inspired furniture, a hat-tip to design legends (like Frank Gehry and Charles and Ray Eames) who left their mark in the area. Our biggest point of pride: after featuring his work inside our space at The Standard, Hollywood, we also called on one of our favorite L.A. artists, Geoff McFetridge, to design the new store façade—a bright blue traffic-stopper called “(Looking Up) We Only See the Bottom of the Sun.” We can’t wait for you to see it in person.
