Warby Parker in Residence
Last week was a whirlwind. We shared the news of our Artists in Residence program in conjunction with The Standard and opened our new store in The Standard, Hollywood lobby. There was only one way to cap it off: a party.
We called the evening Warby Parker in Residence. Guests checked-in at the store and picked up their keys and itineraries—full of glasses, rumpled sheets, mini-bar delights, and lastly, a poolside DJ set.
Sophie Auster serenaded guests in the store with her two residency tracks while fellow Artist in Residence Sidd Khosla got cozy in Room 122. (He even brought his omnichord into the bathroom to continue his performance.)
In true California fashion, the evening ended by the pool, with a performance by Cillie Barnes and a surprise trio of synchronized swimmers.
Although the party’s over, the fun continues at our newly-opened store.
