We Spy: Aurelia Tortoise

Specks of blue, purple, and peach—wow, this splashy new hue sure does remind us of, say, a jellyfish.

(Also, we named it after a jellyfish.)

Introducing the Spring Collection

We’re diving right into spring. And why not? The sun is shining, there’s blue water somewhere, and we’ve all got warm weather on the mind.

We’re diving right into spring. And why not? The sun is shining, there’s blue water somewhere, and we’ve all got warm weather on the mind. It feels like a good time to introduce some fresh frames.

This season’s eight new shapes and six new colors have some added depth (literally). Classic at first glance, but look a little deeper and you’ll discover nautical design details borrowed from the open sea: anchor-hued titanium blended with blue coral acetate, sandy shades modeled after rippled ocean floors, saltwater matte finishes, jellyfish-inspired tortoise, and more—including a handful of solid standbys.

Warby Parker x Ghostly

All good things must not always come to an end. Case in point: Curtis.

All good things must not always come to an end. Case in point: Curtis, the smooth-lined sunglasses that first debuted in last year’s collaboration with the endlessly inventive music and art label, Ghostly International.

After selling out in record time, we decided to bring them back in a big way for Ghostly’s 15th anniversary. This time around we’re reissuing them in three limited-edition colors, plus the original black, which will be exclusively available in stores. We also partnered with five Ghostly artists to create custom artwork that can be downloaded right off our site—easy!

Austin, We Made It

After logging thousands of miles on the highway, the Warby Parker Class Trip has found a new home in Austin.

After logging thousands of miles on the highway, the Warby Parker Class Trip has found a new home in Austin. Starting today, the bus will be comfortably parked at Barton Springs Picnic, a community park that boasts delicious food trucks, picnic tables, covered pavilions, and overall good vibes.

It’s been a long journey since 2012, when the bus first began touring the nation to bring Warby Parker’s showroom experience to life. After a brief pit stop in Dallas, we decided it was time to get those wheels spinning again—and Austin sure seemed like a perfect fit.

Class Trip Bus 2

If you’re in the neighborhood, we’d love for you to come by the bus, which is fully equipped with leather sofas, oak shelves, classic reads, special finds, and of course, our full collection of glasses.

Just outside the bus, we have lending libraries featuring books specially chosen by Austin Bat Cave, an Austin-based nonprofit that provides children and teenagers with opportunities to develop their creative and expository writing skills.
