Introducing the Warby Parker Annex, right in the heart of Fremont. When looking for a place to call home in Seattle, we were immediately drawn to the neighborhood’s unconventional offerings and vibrant community; we knew we had found our spot.

Though we’re new to the neighborhood, we’ve had Seattle in sight for a while. We first fell in love with the city when we came through with the Warby Parker Class Trip a couple of years ago, and just last month, we were posted up at Nordstrom’s Downtown and Bellevue Square locations. It’s an understatement to say that we’re thrilled to open our first standalone retail location in Seattle (and the Pacific Northwest, to boot).

The Annex is a fun take on our bookish appreciation and inspiration. Visitors are greeted by a stacked book window installation along with a large cement block (our very own writer’s block), upon which customers can scribble their five-word memoirs. The space is designed as a playful nod to the notion of writer’s block; checkered oak floors, desks, typewriters, and creative accoutrements aplenty (including coffee mugs) propel the imagination.
