Hello, Palo Alto!
We opened our first store in Palo Alto over the holidays, and we couldn’t be happier. The city has been top of mind for us for a while now, and we finally found the perfect spot to set up shop: a beautiful Spanish Colonial Revival building downtown on Ramona Street, built in 1927 and designed by local legend Birge Clark.
Inside, past a pair of arched entryways, customers will find all our go-to library-inspired design details (think: walnut shelving, terrazzo tiled flooring, and plush leather seating) plus a mural of original illustrations by artist Maira Kalman.
To celebrate the new space, we’ll be offering a pair Palo Alto-exclusive sunglasses for a limited time: Barkley in Jet Black with blue lenses. You won’t find them online, so come by and see them before they go!
