Here is your beach read.

In 1987, Tom Wolfe wrote a book about a Wall Street honcho who is plunged into a monsoon of chaos and sleaze after he gets into a freak car accident in the Bronx.

It’s probably not worth spoiling much beyond that, so just allow us to recommend that you strap on a feed bag before starting this one, so you don’t have to waste time getting up for food or anything.

Alternatively, if you plan on reading this at the beach, please douse yourself with high-SPF sunblock and stay adequately hydrated.

Enjoy!

Thanks to our friends at Flat Vernacular for the excellent backdrops behind these titles.
