Get it while it’s cold
We’ll find any reason to celebrate, especially if ice-cold treats are involved.
We opened the doors to our new Washington Street store this past weekend, and we commemorated the occasion true to form.
Meet Ramon Gomez, master of helado.
He’s long been a presence in his Bronx neighborhood, welcoming repeat customers and locals to his stand on hot days. He’s not on Twitter, and you can’t reach his stand by email or phone. So we made a pilgrimage uptown to his tasty operation— and asked him to celebrate with us this past Saturday.
(He obliged.)
