We’ve been eyeing Charlotte for a long, long time, so consider us thrilled to have finally found a dreamy spot for a Warby Parker store at Atherton Mill. As of last week, we’re officially open, and we couldn’t love our new space any more.
The design of the store preserves the building’s industrial feel, from the concrete flooring to the red brick front wall and wooden ceiling. We’ve added marble table tops, colorful books, library-like shelving, and (of course) glasses and sunglasses.
Behind our Reference Desk, you’ll find a bright original mural by Cyprus-based illustrator Anna Kövecses (whom you may remember from our Summer Sound Sessions last year!). We’re so excited to have her energy in our store.
To celebrate our new spot, we’re offering a limited-edition pair of Charlotte-exclusive sunglasses: Ormsby in Whiskey Tortoise with Flash Mirrored Pacific Blue lenses. The midcentury-flavored frame is only available with these eye-popping lenses at Atherton Mill—so if you’re in town, come get a look before it’s gone!
